EMPLOYMENT ALLIANCE
The purpose of the Coalition’s Employment Alliance is to identify and partner with organizations that have services, training opportunities, and employment opportunities for service members, veterans, and their family members throughout the state. Furthermore, its purpose is to development employer training resources for hiring transitioning service members and improve spouse employment opportunities. The alliance also results in tangible services like resume writing assistance. Contact information for alliance members can be found on AKCVMF’s online directory. There is also a social media group on LinkedIn. The alliance meets monthly.

GOALS
- Identify and partner with organizations that have services for Service members, Veterans and their Families in every community hub in Alaska
- Develop Employer Training Program for hiring transitioning Service members and Veterans
- Implement agency education program during monthly meetings
- Improve spouse engagement
